| We often spend a good amount of time and money on
clothes that need to be practical, comfortable and look great. As
the first thing people see, your spectacles are perhaps more important
to get right. So take the time and please ask our advice, when browsing.
General tips
Try on plenty of frames - a few will normally jump out as suiting
you better. Narrow your selection down to 3 frames before making
your final choice
- The frame should not be wider than your temples
- The top of the frame should not be higher than your eyebrows
- The bottom of the frame should not touch your cheek
- The nose bridge should be comfortable even when the frame
is pressed down gently.
- Think about the colour of your jewellery and wardrobe
before choosing a colour

Remember - frames usually need to be adjusted - so if you like a shape, please get us to check the fit for you.
Video spectacle selection, using video freeze frame.
Choosing spectacles can be so difficult if we can't see what they
look like without our own specs on!
Use our video freeze frame to compare the way you look with four
different pairs of spectacles - it's easy and fun; and you'll feel
happier that you've made the right choice.
Remember - you are an individual and your choice of frame
should make you feel comfortable and sit with your personality and
lifestyle. Bring a friend or family member to help, use our video
freeze frame and please ask our optical assistants - their main
focus is for you to end up with spectacles that you are delighted
with.
