The Welsh Eyecare service is a Welsh Government Assembly initiative to preserve sight through the early detection of eye disease and to give help to those who have low vision and whose sight is unlikely to improve.
This includes a more thorough examination for people who are at risk of eye disease due to reasons of race or family history, or to any one who develops an acute eye problem.
If you develop a sudden eye problem call us us to book an examination. We’ll normally see you within 24 hours. After assessing your problem we can:
- Reassure you if all is well
- Refer you back to your GP
- Refer you to the eye department
